Hi, I'm Viviane Schickle!
I’ve always been drawn to understanding people beyond what is visible on the surface. Not just what we do, but how we experience things, how we relate, and what shapes the way we move through the world. This curiosity has quietly guided many of my choices over time.
Living in different places and being surrounded by people from a wide range of cultures has deeply influenced this perspective. Experiencing different ways of living, communicating, and relating made me more aware of how diverse our realities are, but also how much we share at a human level. It gave me a sensitivity to context, to nuance, and to the subtle ways environment and culture shape how we feel and connect.

In different environments, I found myself consistently focused on the human side of things, how people feel, what they need, and what makes an experience meaningful or not. While I gained a lot of insight along the way, I also began to notice a gap. There was often a difference between what is designed, communicated, or intended, and what people actually experience in their everyday lives. This led me to look more closely at the small, often overlooked factors that influence well-being. The spaces we are in, the pace we move at, the quality of our interactions. I started to see how much these subtle elements shape our sense of connection, or disconnection, over time.
Gradually, my perspective shifted. I became less interested in solutions that only respond once something feels off, and more interested in what supports people in staying connected to themselves in the first place. I was drawn to moments and environments where there is less structure and expectation, and more room to simply be. In these spaces, I noticed that something genuine tends to emerge, people open up in their own way, creativity flows more naturally, and connection feels less forced. At the same time, I became aware of how uncommon these kinds of spaces are, and how inaccessible they can be for many. That realization stayed with me.
Nidrana grew out of this. It is an attempt to create spaces that feel more human, more open, and more grounded in real experience. Spaces where people can slow down, reconnect, and share moments without pressure or performance. For me, it is not about offering answers, but about creating the conditions where something meaningful can unfold, in a way that feels natural, accessible, and real.
Personal Thoughts on Nidrana
Why Nidrana Matters To Me
Nidrana to me is a way of bringing together everything I’ve come to value through my experiences with people, places, and different ways of living. It reflects a belief that well-being is shaped less by big interventions and more by the quality of our everyday environments, our interactions, and the space we give ourselves to simply be.
Having spent time in different cultures and surrounded by diverse perspectives, I’ve seen how many ways there are to live and connect. At the same time, I’ve noticed a common thread, the need for spaces that feel genuine, unpressured, and human. Nidrana is my response to that, shaped by what I’ve observed across these different contexts. It is not about creating something new in the sense of adding more, but about creating less noise. A setting where people can step out of constant input and expectation, and return to something more natural. Through shared experiences, whether in nature, creative expression, or simple conversation, it offers a way to reconnect without forcing an outcome.
What matters to me is that it remains accessible and real. Not something exclusive or idealized, but something people can recognize themselves in. A space where differences are welcomed, and where connection can happen in its own time and form.
Nidrana, in that sense, is both personal and collective. It holds my own journey, but it is shaped by everyone who becomes part of it. At its core, it is about creating the conditions for connection, to ourselves, to others, and to the environments we are part of.
